Why Fri/Sat vs Sat/Sun?

I assume that quite a few people are working on Friday and won't be able to attend some of the sessions that they'd otherwise be interested in.

They're putting up the lighting right now for the Calling Planet Earth Music Festival - it's gonna look sick home mortgage.
What is CPEMF beyond just another catchy acronym? Well, it's three days/nights (11am-11pm anyway) of socially-conscious jamband camping, featuring three stages filled with bands such as (and I'm gonna get lazy, leave out links and trust you can make your way to the google search bar if need be) :
Entrain, U-Melt, Pat McGee, Peter Francis of Dispatch, Strangefolk as the Windfalls, Tevellus, Assembly of Dust, the Attic, Al Schnier of moe. and a whole bunch more discover credit card.
And its mission, you ask?
The mission of Calling Planet Earth Music Festival is to promote social responsibility of the environment through collective entertainment and education. Through this three-day, camping, FAMILY-oriented music and environmental
awareness festival we hope to encourage all inhabitants of this little planet to take responsibility for their actions.
Our charities are also a concern for us. We will be donating portions of the proceeds from this event to:
* March Of Dimes
* Ocean State Center for Independent Living bad credit personal loans
* H.O.P.E Foundation
Oh and while I'm at it, I think that CMEMF wanted to give
a quick shout-out to the wonderful folks at Strangers Helping Strangers who will
be handling the food drive. Don't forget your can goods and non-perishables. Every little bit helps!!!

We thought people who worked with Drupal as the main job are more likely to come on Friday, and people who use Drupal outside their main paid work would be more likely to be available on Saturday. For myself, I like to keep at least one weekend day for my family.
